During the last weekend of August, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation holds its annual Asheville Ride for Kids. This event is one of many that the PBTF holds around the country to raise funds in order to find the cause of and cure for childhood brain tumors.
Many of the Smoky Mountain H.O.G.® members participate in the event as either a volunteer staff member on the day of the event or raise funds and participate in the ride. Some will even do both. For many of us, it is great to get out and help an Asheville-based organization that helps many others throughout the country. Furthermore, you will enjoy visiting with other motorcycle enthusiasts from other local chapters and cities.
More information on this activity can be found on our calendar or by visiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's website.
